1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ScoTab (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ScoTab is a basketball scoreboard and statistics application that provides scores, stats, standings, and community features for the NBA, WNBA, EuroLeague, and NCAA. The App is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

• Account creation is optional. You may use the App without an account via an anonymous device identifier.
• If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Post content that is offensive, abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s systems or other users’ accounts
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App’s data for commercial purposes without written permission

6. User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (comments, predictions, poll votes).
• By posting content, you grant ScoTab a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the App.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our content guidelines, without prior notice.
• Content is filtered for inappropriate language. Repeated violations may result in loss of posting privileges.

7. Intellectual Property

• The App’s design, code, and original content are the property of ScoTab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• NBA, WNBA, EuroLeague, and NCAA team names, logos, and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.
• ScoTab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any professional or collegiate basketball league, team, or players’ association.

8. Statistics and Data Accuracy

• Game scores, statistics, standings, odds, and other data are provided “as is” from third-party sources.
• We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed in the App.
• Do not rely on the App as your sole source for betting, fantasy sports, or any financial decisions.

9. Betting Odds and Player Props

The App displays betting odds and player prop predictions for informational purposes only. This information does not constitute gambling advice. ScoTab does not facilitate, promote, or endorse gambling. You are solely responsible for complying with the gambling laws in your jurisdiction.

10. Availability and Modifications

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without notice.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. Service may be affected by maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Features may be added, changed, or removed at our discretion.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR CONTINUOUSLY AVAILABLE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOTAB AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScoTab, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
